This role requires associates to work out of a MVH hub location in North America.
Why This Role Matters:
The Senior Learning Experience Designer will lead the design, project management, development, execution and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide learning initiatives. This role combines instructional design expertise with strong program management capabilities to deliver impactful learning experiences that drive Associate performance, engagement and business results.
You Will:
- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
- Design, launch and manage large-scale learning programs in partnership with functional and/or business unit sponsors across multiple business units.
- Partner with functional stakeholders (e.g., P&O, Medical Education, functional leaders, SMEs) to identify learning needs, create learning objectives and define success metrics.
- Build project plans, manage project timelines, resources, budgets and vendor relationships.
- Monitor program effectiveness through data analysis feedback, learning assessments, recommend and implement enhancements.
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of learning solutions using instructional design models.
- Create engaging, scalable learning content using blended modalities, identify opportunities to experiment with new modalities to advance the learning experience.
- Curate or build custom content using tools like Articulate, Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or learning video platforms.
- Build materials to facilitate the transfer of knowledge or train-the-trainer for deployment.
- Partner and/or lead peer learning experience designer and ISD to deliver on learning projects, participate across initiatives as requested, provide recommendations and guidance based on expertise, subject matter expertise in learning design and development.
- Follow processes and standards to ensure transparency and efficiency and create effective project operating teams.
- Lead design and development projects as designated, managing stakeholders and ISD resources to successful project completion.
Your Experience Should Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required. Advanced degree in Learning & Development, ISD, or Human Resources is preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in instructional design, learning program management.
- Proven experience learning complex, cross-functional learning programs., expertise in adult learning theories, instructional design models, strong communications and collaboration skills and preferrable experience in learning in veterinary or human medicine.
Salary Range: $113,960 - $178,063

Special Working Considerations:
- Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
- Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
