Role Purpose

Support the delivery of MVH multi-year transformation program and strategy by providing Financial Analysis, prepare Business Cases and be a partner to Business Stakeholders and SRO.

Planning and Forecasting of Transformational initiative budgets.

Ownership of the TIGG reporting (Costs and Benefits) associated with Transformations. Strong partnership with MVH Controllers and business units in defining the appropriate processes and controls to manage the Transformational funding and benefits appropriately.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Own reporting of MVH Transformational programs (Benefits and Costs). Ensure it is timely and accurate.
  • Collaborate with MVH Controllership / FP&A in providing guidance to the BU Finance teams re: how to record / report Benefits and Costs of all MVH Transformational programs.
  • Play active role in Governance and monitoring of the Transformational costs within the Mars Inc. guidelines.
  • Prepare and review Budgets and Forecasts for the Transformational programs. Partner with the owners of the initiatives to course-correct and manage financial risks vs. Business cases / Targets.
  • Strong Integrity and ability to keep information confidential is a critical expectation of the job
  • Support preparation of Business Cases – own the modelling and financials in presentations. Work directly with stakeholders / owners of the projects.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Special Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid role, working from Hub location 3x a week.
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time. 
  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
  • Environment where pets are present.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, and / or combination of education, training and experience to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance in the areas of retail, healthcare or multi-unit consumer facing service industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to summarize complex datasets into impactful and actionable analyses.
  • Previous healthcare/veterinary experience is preferred.

Salary: $100,531 - $ 150,797

The pay range for this role is

$100,531.00 - $138,230.49 Annual
