Sr. Coordinator, Hospital Marketing

This will be a hybrid position based out of the Banfield Pet Hospital headquarters in Vancouver, WA.

Salary Range: $24.59 - $33.81/hour (DOE)

Summary and Qualifications:

Supports the Hospital Field Marketing Director and Hospital Marketing Field Manager in delivering on our practice goals through new client growth, Optimum Wellness Plan (OWP) enrollment, comprehensive hospital growth, and new hospital openings.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Respond to Marketing Support inbox requests such as order delivery information, proper signage placement, custom flyers/banners, event support and other resources. 
  • Help hospital teams regarding orders for print collateral including placing and tracking orders.
  • Assist hospitals on the Web-to-Print system, answering questions on use.
  • Coordinate with creative/digital teams and our print partners to supply custom ads, fliers, web banners, as needed. Including supplying recipient lists and at times delivery confirmations.
  • Support Director and Program Manager, Field Marketing in executing marketing tactics to include scheduling meetings with field teams and assisting with communications updates.
  • Assist/deliver tracking of hospital engagement, business metrics and field marketing campaign performance.
  • Document, and report back, marketing Office Hours participation and topics/solutions discussed.
  • Support Hospital Marketing in executing tactics for the opening/remodel of hospitals: Ordering posters, fliers, custom hospital collateral, mailings and other related activities.
  • Collaborate with practice managers and event organizers to register, provide payment and request certificate of insurance for reginal events.
  • Request and track the updating of internal systems – hospital web pages, operating hours, etc.
  • Update regional field leadership maps on a regular basis.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams (Operations, Commercial, Corporate Affairs, Talent Acquisition, People & Organization) as needed.
  • Create purchase orders, process invoices and track expenditures.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Special Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time. 
  • Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
  • Environment where pets are present.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or Marketing is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Two years of event coordination experience are required.
  • Experience with marketing concepts, creating marketing collateral, reserving media, working with creative, etc. is required.
  • Banfield hospital experience is preferred.
